U.S. Naval Sea Cadets Fresno Battalion Recruiting Booth and Awards Ceremony, part of Patriots Remembrance Day and Nonprofit Fair at Sierra Vista Mall on Saturday September 8, 2007
Clovis, CA – September 8, 2007. The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, Fresno Battalion will host a recruiting booth and hold an Awards Ceremony on Saturday the 8th of September at Sierra Vista Mall’s Center Court.
An organization for youth ages 11 – 17, the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet program fosters core values “…through organization and cooperation with the Department of the Navy, to encourage and aid American youth to develop, train them in seagoing skills, and to teach them patriotism, courage, self-reliance and kindred virtues.”
The U.S. Naval Sea Cadets will be located inside the Community Room from 10am to 1pm with knot tying demonstrations. The Award Ceremony will take place at 2pm at Center Court.
